Nigerians have been encouraged to bury their fears, and not to foresee any chaos, danger, disaster or unrest in the forthcoming February 2023 elections, which seems unpredictable to major national seers; but rather, be calm about it because the nation will be at the centre of God’s agenda next year. Likewise, no mortal will be able to truncate or hinder the elections from holding, as being speculated.
Undoubtedly, those who are blessed with deep insight, as well as the word of knowledge can reliably say, God has never lost control and will never, in respect to His plans and purposes, particularly when it come to His sovereignty.
Apostle Andrew Afefeojo a Lagos based prophet, of the Glorious Salvation Mission who has prophetically declared accurately in the past on some matters, gave the assurance while exhorting a group of Christians in Abuja who graced the PDP campaign rally at the Eagle’s square. It is also noteworthy to believe that Nigeria; the apple of God’s eyes deserves the best, at this critical and sensitive stage of our polity, and no trend or pattern of any event in the world is strange to God without man’s involvement, he added.
The man of God lamented that it’s a pity that Nigeria has lost and is still losing fathers, but our heavenly father remains the same to eternity. Presently, it seems as though we are a fatherless nation, without specific directions from our spiritual and political fathers due to the pathetic situation we have been plunged into. A Yoruba adage says that, ” agba ki wa loja kori omo tuntu wo” which is literarily translated as “an elder cannot be at the market place and a new born baby’s head is wrongly positioned”. This is just to establish the importance of the wisdom of the elders in resolving matters since they are perceived as the wise who set things correctly.
As a matter of fact, fathers are synonymous to Blessings, hence God has irreversibly blessed Nigeria and will sinuously prevent any curse or evil agenda to prevail. And as for those that do not want elections to hold for any reason, and are not ready for a sustainable democracy and development, but rather a division, they will be dumbfounded!
Apostle Afefeojo was optimistic that the election as promised by God, will transcend peace, being a year to determine Nigeria’s co-existence. There are however, some things that must set the atmosphere right for it to be; the citizens in possession of PVCs must resist fear, debunk any rumour of mayhem, and be positive, and boldly come out to exercise their civic rights.
Secondly if all the people that witnessed the campaign rallies of political parties can genuinely cast their honest votes in regards to their interested candidate then their minds will be at rest.
Lastly, measures should be put in place that will make it peaceful. Anyone may be apprehensive and bring a weapon along to the voting centre just in case of any eventuality. This can be checked by installing weapon-detecting devices at volatile or sensitive areas, it would go a long way to stall any unpleasant situation.
He further stated that the gullible supporters who may be planning to tamper with votes, or rig by any means possible, as a do or die affair for a deceitful aspirant will be highly disappointed before, during and after the elections and will be faced with God’s wrath and judgement.
He concluded by making a decree that our dry bones will live again, thus advocating for love to reign, that Nigeria will remain one under a detribilized, competent and passionate leader, no matter the abnormalities. Continue Reading
