The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has been warned about the implication of a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
An Abuja-based activist, Deji Adeyanju, warned Tinubu that settling for a Muslim-Muslim ticket would further polarise Nigeria.
He noted that “the divisions will become super obvious in the coming years” if Tinubu settles for a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
In a Facebook post, Adeyanju said Tinubu should take the crisis in Kaduna State as a case study.
“Many have not grasped what a Tinubu and his Muslim-Muslim ticket will do to this country. The divisions will become super obvious in the coming years.
“People like Nasir El Rufai (Governor of Kaduna State) are already emboldened and we see all the outcomes in Kaduna already.
“Keep Nigeria United by recognizing our religious divide and carry everyone along. May God bless Nigeria and everyone,” he wrote. Continue Reading
