Nationnewslead report that Hon. Seye Arowobusoye, House of Assembly candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) for the Oriade State Constituency has said that he will make youth and women empowerment a priority if elected in the 2023 elections.
He stated that his campaign would be issue-based and would focus on the developmental needs of the constituency, assuring that he would put the people’s interest above his own personal interest.
“I can assure you that the good people of Oriade State Constituency will never regret if am elected as accountability, transparency and effective representation will be my watchword.
“I will give priority to youth and women empowerment as well as issues on education, health and agricultural,” he said.
Speaking further, he said he would never make any promise that he had no capacity to fulfil, hence my campaign will be issued based and anchored on honesty and transparency.
Hon. Seye Arowobusoye said that he had severally intervened in the health, education and other needs of the people in his private capacity in the constituency.
“If I am elected in 2023 it will give me more opportunity to do more for the people of the constituency,” he said.
Arowobusoye said if elected he would collaborate with colleagues in the house to introduce the bill seeking the establishment of the Oriade Development Commission that would expedite development in the zone.
Earlier, Mr Olarewaju, the Chairman of YPP said that he had known Seye Arowobusoye for a very long time, adding that the party had absolute confidence that Seye would emerge victorious in 2023.
“Arowobusoye has impacted positively on all the people who have come closer to him.
“Seye is a man of integrity and honour because his yes is always his yes no matter whose ‘Ox is gored ‘ and his passion for helping and uplifting others, is second to none.
