President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday forwarded additional 19 ministerial nominees list to Senate for screening and confirmation.

Surprisingly, the likes of Festus Keyamo and Femi Fani-Kayode did not make the second list after news of their names also missing from the first list went viral.

The duo has been one of the leading voices on Twitter during the buildup to the 2023 presidential election that saw the emergence of Bola Tinubu as president.

As expected, the Chief of Staff and the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajamiabila presented the new batch of ministerial list to the Senate President which was later read by Senator Akpabio.

Among the prominent Nigerians who made the new list are five former governors.

They are: Adegboyega Oyetola from Osun, Atiku Bagudu from Kebbi, Bello Matawalle from Zamfara, Ibrahim Geidam from Yobe and Simon Lalong of Plateau.

Other nominees on the list are, Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo, Bosun Tijani, Dr Maryam Shetty, Isiak Salako, Tunji Alausa and Dr Yusuf Tanko Sununu

Others are Lola Ade John, Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, Prof Tahir Mamman, Senator Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, Senator Alkali Ahmed Saidu; Senator Heineken Lokpobori; Uba Maigari Ahmadu and
Zaphaniah Bitrus Jisalo.

It be recalled that four former governors made the first batch list; they are Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, David Umahi of Ebonyi, Nasiru Ahmed El- Rufai of Kaduna and Nyesom Wike of Rivers.

With the arrival of the second batch of ministerial nominees, the total number of nominees before the Senate is now 47.
