Nationnewslead reports that An HND II Student of Library And Information Science from the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, Comrade Fapohunda Fifunmi Ezekiel politically known as Greatness has emerged the new President of Federation Of Ijesa Student Union (FISU) National Bodies, Osun State.

 

 

Nationnewslead reports that Fifunmi has just been voted as the new President, Federation Of Ijesa Student Union National Bodies, Osun State. In a keenly contested election held electronically on Saturday, August 20th, 2022, Comrade Fapohunda polled a total of 71 votes to defeat FUTA SUG President, Ibiyemi Abiodun popularly known as General Wales who polled 63 votes in the election held few hours ago.

 

 

Oyerinde Paul (D’Oracle) was elected as the Vice President seeing off his opponent Ajayi Kehinde O.

 

 

Obileye Pelumi T and Others were elected unopposed as the Secretary, Vice President 2, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Welfare Director, Social Director, Public Relation Officer 1, Sports Director and the Public Relation Officer 2 respectively.

 

The electoral process was monitored in the situation room which is domiciled at the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesa Land Palace by Leader Comrade Olurunfemi Olatunji Opeyemi (AWOKO), Outgoing FISU President Comrade Ilesanmi Samuel Godwin (SAMLOKO), Outgoing FISU Speaker, Babalola Adekunle Isaac (ALUTA GENERAL), NAOSS Financial Secretary, Awoyemi Olayinka Rafael (NATION), Hon. Ayeni Ojo Adeniyi (IJESA), Aderinwale Ebenezer Okikiola ( COMRADE OKIKI), Owoborode Sunday B (OWO’S), Asiwaju Gideon Ogungbemi (GOF), Oguntoye Adelani (ODA) other FISU members and representatives of various aspirants.
