The Zamfara State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Alhaji Sani Yusuf Danmasani, has donated fifty million naira (N50m) to the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Dr. Gilbert Agbo.

The party urged its supporters to offer prayers at both mosques and churches for the victory of the Kano Governor at the appeal court.

Speaking with the Nigerian Tribune on Sunday in Gusau, the Zamfara NNPP chairman, Alhaji Sani Yusuf Danmasani, stated that the donation was intended to enable the party to assert its legal rights in some states and administrations.

“Financial aid has begun pouring into NNPP’s coffers, which will enable the party to cover legal fees in various courts across the country,” Danmasani explained.

Danmasani expressed appreciation for the generous gesture of Chief Felix Chukwurah from Anambra State, who had previously donated thirty million naira and his building in Abuja.

“I also commend Mr Efe from Delta State, who donated 40 million naira, and Mr Richard from Rivers State, who contributed 35 million naira to assist the party with its legal matters and general administration.”

“The avoidable rascality and irresponsible actions of the defunct NWC members of NNPP, led by Alhaji Abbah Kawu, who pronounced the expulsion of the founder of NNPP, Chief Aniebonam, have spurred many members of the party nationwide to deal decisively with these individuals through legal means.”

Also, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who was upset about the avoidable development, allegedly threatened the defunct NWC members over the party headquarters he had donated.

“We have it on record that one of the spokespeople for Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who was also among the defunct NWC members, complained of using his personal funds and efforts for the party.”

“He stated that he cannot continue with personal spending, highlighting the silence of NNPP’s spokespersons, including Barr Johnson Ladipo, Prince Onu Nweze, Dr. Stanley Ijeh, and Elder Buba Galadima.”

The Zamfara State Chairman of NNPP, Sani Yusuf Danmasani, emphasized that the NWC led by Dr. Gilbert Agbo and Comrade Ogini, the Secretary-General of NNPP, would receive full support for their successful administration.

“On the 16th of October 2023, all NNPP members are hereby directed to attend churches to pray for the victory of our Kano State Governor at the appeal court, our Taraba State gubernatorial candidate, and the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Imo and Kogi States.”
