The Oriade/Obokun Federal House of Representative aspirant Dr. Ojumu Desmond Oludare has felicitated with all Christians especially his constituents on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.
In his Easter goodwill message, the House of Representative aspirant urged Christians to remember the virtues and characteristics of the season. Hon Ojumu said that Easter represents the biggest sacrifice in the history of mankind, adding that Jesus Christ depicted His uncommon love for humanity by accepting to die shamefully on the cross of calvary. He enjoined his constituents and all Christians at large to savour the privilege of the season by being reflective on Jesus death.
Hon Ojumu said said that Jesus died for the redemption of mankind and to reconcile man with God. According to him, Jesus Christ paid the ultimate and priceless price by washing away the sins of man through His precious blood which He shed on the cross of Calvary. Hon Ojumu enthused that with what Jesus Christ did which is being celebrated at this season, man has an unhindered access to God.
The Politician asserted that the world would have been doomed had Jesus not gone through shame and torment on the cross of calvary. Speaking further, the financial expert turned politician said that Jesus Christ showcased His superiority over death by rising on the third day and washing away the sins of mankind by making the priceless sacrifice. He therefore urged all the followers of Jesus Christ to live a holy and sinless life, as a way of appreciating Jesus for what He did.
To him, Christians should always show love, help one another and have pure hearts, as part of the measures to partake in the blessings of the season. “Easter celebration is one of the important celebrations in christaindom, it signifies the period the savour of the world died for the redemption and Savior of mankind”.
