The Acting Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Dr. Olarongbe Afolabi has rejoiced with Muslims on the occasion of 2022 eid-l-fitr celebration.
This was contained in a goodwill message signed by the Polytechnic Director of information, Public Relations and Protocol, Olayinka Iroye on May, 1st 2022.
Dr. Afolabi charged all Muslims to use the opportunity of Eid-l-Fitr to be steadfast in prayer for the nation for restoration of peace and tranquility which is being challenged by insecurity. He further congratulated staff of the Polytechnic on May Day celebration and commended both teaching and non-teaching staff for the dedication and commitment to their official duties. He admonished staff to continue to uphold spirit of love, peace, unity and togetherness which is paramount to the growth and development of the Polytechnic.
According to him, “on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, staff and students, I wish all Muslim faithfuls a blessed & happy Eid-El-Fitr celebration.
“Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, heightened devotion & charity. Muslims are urged to use the opportunity of Eid El Fitr to pray for peace, tranquility & an end to the insecurity in Nigeria. I equally celebrate all staff of the Polytechnic on the occasion of workers’ day. May Almighty Allah accept our Ibadah. May we all eat the fruit of our labor.
