The immediate past Deputy Governor of Osun State, Mr. Benedict Olugboyega Alabi, has felicitated with Muslim faithful in Osun State and across the world on this year’s Eid al-Fitri festival.
He urged them to continue in their way of doing good and maintaining peaceful coexistence through charity that has been done during the holy month of fasting.
Alabi stated this in his message to Muslims across the globe to rejoice; he stressed that the teaching and way of worship in the holy month make it unique in the Islamic calendar and in the lives of Muslim faithful.
“The uniqueness of the holy month of Ramadan should prevail in the lives of every individual by continuing the good deeds, maintaining peace with dignity, and being more prayerful after the period.”
“All the lessons and preaching from clerics during the month should not be neglected; they should live with it and make use of it in their daily activities to have a well-lived lifetime.” “The holiness they practiced during the month should not be abandoned till next year’s Ramadan.”
“On behalf of myself and my family, I felicitate with the Muslim faithful in Nigeria, especially in Osun State, and all over the world. “Ramadan has come and gone, but the good deeds still remain.”
“We must all continue to be our brothers’ keepers and enhance our giving hands to our neighbors as we did during the month of Ramadan,” Alabi said.
