Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and students has congratulated Muslim Faithfuls on the occasion of Eid-l- Kabir celebration.
The Rector in a statement released by Director of Information, Public Relations and Protocols, Olayinka Iroye, charged Muslims to use the opportunity of the sanctified occasion to pray for Divine protection against security threat ravaging the country and beseeched them to continue to supplicate for the progress of the country through good deeds, sacrifice and spirit of togetherness.
Dr. Olatunji wished all Muslims guidance, blessings of Allah, good health to Celebrate more on earth.
He added that the celebration typifies faithful and total submission to the will of Allah as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim who prepared to offer his son as act of worship of Allah (SWT) and must be emulated. He therefore admonished believers to be steadfast in their prayers and positively impact on their neighbors and the community at large.
According to him: On behalf of Governing Council and Management, I rejoice with all Muslim ummah on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
“This season is a period of reflections on the great lessons of Prophet Ibrahim’s (PBOH) life of submission,faith and obedience.”
