Nationnewslead report that The flag bearer of All Progressive Congress (APC) for Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election, Hon. Seun Odofin has felicitated with Muslims all over the world especially Nigerians on the successful completion of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.
He urged Nigerians to pray for the unity of the country as he seeks support for the incoming administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu who he believes is a very capable leader who can transform Nigeria.
Seun Odofin further advised Nigerians not to be instrumental to any action that can worsen the insecurity currently bedeviling the country just as he appealed to leaders at all levels to be alive to their responsibilities. He tasked everyone to serves as crime detector to fish out all iniquitous elements frustrating the peace and progress of the land.
In a goodwill message signed by him, Thursday, the founder of the popular humanitarian organization, Odofin OASIS Foundation, says:
βOn this blessed occasion of Eld-ul-Fitr, I felicitate with all Muslims worldwide especially Nigerians on the successful completion of the fasting period.
βI seek support for the incoming administration of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu through prayers and in all other areas. He is capable of transforming our country to achieve Nigeria of our dream. No doubt about that.
βEither you’re a Muslim or Christian, your concern should be love for all, unity, tolerance, generosity and good conscience as dictate by both religions and as always demonstrated by their faithfuls during the fasting seasons. This virtue should be a continuous practize.
βThere is no other place we can call our own. We can’t live in isolation. We need one another to surmount these multiple challenges before us..No leaders can do it alone without understanding and support of the followers.
βOur biggest challenges are insecurity and corruption. The agents of a better Nigeria amongst us must not allow crusaders of crime and disintegration using ethno-religious and political agitations as cover up for selfish interests to succeed.
βLeaders at all levels must be alive to their responsibilities for the project of a greater Nigeria.
βWe all need to be vigilant, to expose the criminals amongst us. They live within us. They’re not ghosts. We shouldn’t abandon the task of fighting crimes to security agencies alone.
βThese nefarious personalities have lamed the progress of the country because development can only strive in a secured and corruption-free environment. Huge resources losing to corruption and deploy to fight insecurity can turn Nigeria around for good.
βLet’s pray and work towards a threat and corruption-free society because no religion promotes criminalityβ He says.
