EuroAfrica Services, a firm registered in Nigeria and Europe through the European Union has rolled out its plans to send 200 Nigerian youth to Poland to acquire vocational skills and also study in their higher institutions.

EuroAfrica since 2013 has moved over 300 Nigerians for an exchange programme in Poland. In 2024, they introduced another programme called the Strategic Human Capital Development Programme aimed at the socio-economic development of Nigerian youth.

According to the Founder of EuroAfrica, Olakunle Alayande, the youth will be distributed to different higher institutions, colleges, and skill acquisition centres to learn skills in different areas.

“We are bringing up another programme for Nigerian youth to benefit from. The programme is basically meant to empower youth to go to Poland and study in vocational schools and some higher partnering universities in Poland.

“The aim of this programme is to ensure that we bring in the socio-economic development for Nigerian youth and to ensure that when they get to Poland, while studying they have the opportunity to work as well, which simply means that these two things will not clash, they have the privilege to work for example Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday, they have the privilege to study.

He said they believe the programme will have an impact on youth to bring out what they have learned or the vocational training they have been able to acquire while they were in Poland to come back to Nigeria and use it to develop the country.

“What we stand for is not migration, we stand for the best way to travel to Europe whereby we can empower the youth based on the current situation because it is not all about leaning on the government to take care of all these educational things in Nigeria, but we want to be part of the group of organisations in the educational sector to help Nigerian youth to get to Poland and to ensure that what we promised to deliver will be given to them,” Alayande emphasised.

He explained that for a start, they will be moving 200 youth to Poland because the vocational schools there can accommodate them, while subsequently, the number will increase.

“We are starting with 200 students because the vocational schools there are willing to take up to 200 students per annum. This is not a one-time thing, it will be a sequence programme because it is being funded by the European Union and it is unlimited but for a start, we intend to start with 200 students, and from there, we take it to another level.

“The intending students will be required to get their international passport and the SSCE certificate which means it could be WAEC or NECO,” Alayande added.
