Nationnewslead reports that Following the announcement of the Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, Pastor Umo Eno as his preferred successor by Governor Udom Emmanuel, the duo of Mr. Akan Okon and Comrade Ini Ememobong who are both Commissioners serving in the Ministry of Economic Development & Ibom Deep Seaport and Ministry of Information respectively, have conspired to launch a smear campaign against the image of the Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration.
These plots by Akan Okon and Ini Ememobong were exposed by impeccable sources close to them, who did not want their names in print.
Mr. Akan Okon, who is said to be disappointed and angry that the Governor did not choose him as the preferred successor, is accused to have boasted that he has secret documents against Governor Udom’s government that if released, could “sink down this State.”
On his part, Comrade Ini Ememobong is alleged to be sponsoring media attacks both in the National tabloids and local media, against Governor Udom Emmanuel and his preferred successor, Pastor Umo Eno.
Credible sources close to the Information Commissioner disclosed that Ini Ememobong is the one secretly bankrolling one self-imposed Facebook towncrier (“Local Man”) to daily insult the Governor on his Facebook platform while he (Ini Ememobong) has stylishly evaded his duties as Media Director of the Umo Eno Campaign Organization which he was appointed to serve recently; because according to him, his interest has not been negotiated accordingly by the Governor, for 2023.
It could be observed that since his appointment as the Director of Media in the Umo Eno Campaign oerganization, Comrade Ini Ememobong has deliberately remained inactive and unwilling about the appointment, because he feels his 2023 interest and gains have not been negotiate upon. Continue Reading
