The newly-appointed West African Youth Ambassador, Fisayo George Adelabu, has been honoured with the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of excellence and integrity.
The honour is in recognition of ensuring a sustainable environment and championing a community of goal-driven youths across the country.
Reacting to the appointment and award in a statement, Adelabu stated: “I’m happy that relevant organisations are acknowledging our efforts in creating a better community for our youths through our strides and I’m grateful for the support I’ve been receiving so far from various quarters, it’s well appreciated and I won’t hesitate to do more for our youths.”
Adelabu, who is also a medical practitioner became popular for his philanthropic gesture towards youths nationwide over the years through different channels like empowering growing forex traders via gifting prop firm accounts, capitals and free forex classes and signals to help those interested in forex earn money, scholarships for students, as well organising mentorship programmes.
Though he started trading forex back in Zaporozhye State Medical University, Ukraine, he officially started Dr Bills Academy, a forex firm in April 2020.
Other recognitions and awards he has received include the Icon of Women Development, the 2023 Forex Icon of the Year award, and a COPEEL award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development of entrepreneurship in Africa.
