Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a final year student of the Delta State University, Abraka, Mr. Chris Oghojafor.

The industrial chemistry student was kidnapped on Friday night, April 22 in Abraka Community, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of the state.

It was learnt that the kidnappers called the mother of the victim to demand a N50 million ransom.

The father of the student, who is a Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President, Mr. John Oghojafor Esq, confirmed the report to Nationnewslead at the Delta State University, Campus 3 in Abraka.

The legal practitioner said, “They kidnapped my son since on Friday night. They called my wife to demand for N50million. Later, they negotiated to N3 million.”

Mr. Oghojafor appealed to the kidnappers to release his son unhurt saying he was just a student who is planning his life and future to be a better person in society. Continue Reading
