Hoodlums reportedly invaded the office of the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) on Thursday but no material was carted away.

Disclosing this to the newsmen, the Chairman of OYSIEC, Are Isiaka Abiola Olagunju, said all the material, both sensitive and insensitive, is intact.

Over 12,000 security personnel have been deployed for local government elections in Oyo State on Saturday.

The Commissioner of Police, Adebola Hamzat, disclosed this at the stakeholders meeting held at the Police Command, Eleyele Ibadan.

In his breakdown, there were 8,000 police personnel, 2,125 from sister services and other agencies.

He added that the released list of personnel did not include the Military arm.

He assured that every area of the state was covered.

He thereby ensures the police’s immediate arrest of the hoodlums
