Revered Fuji veteran, Kollington Ayinla, who returned home weeks back after an extended stay in the hospital battling an undisclosed ailment, has said he prays to live the rest of his life in good health.

Sources close to the musician had revealed that his health struggles are linked to the inevitable challenges of old age.

However, throughout his ordeal, Ayinla has been buoyed by the overwhelming support of fellow Fuji artistes, particularly, Sule Alao also known as Malaika, who have generously contributed to his medical expenses.

While speaking about his health, the iconic “Ijo Yoyo” crooner expressed gratitude for his return home, yet acknowledged that his ailment persists, albeit to a lesser extent.

Despite the lingering discomfort, Ayinla said he remained optimistic, placing his faith in divine intervention to bring about complete healing and restore him to his former vitality.

According to him, he remained resolute in his belief that with God’s grace, he would overcome his health challenges and reclaim his peak performance.

Reflecting on the inevitabilities of aging, Ayinla shared insights into the natural progression of life, acknowledging the physical toll it could take on the body.

When you grow old to a certain age, you must experience some discomfort in your body but I am praying to God to give me perfect health to enjoy the rest of my life.”

As Ayinla embarked on the next chapter of his journey, he did so with a renewed sense of hope and determination. With his unwavering faith and the support of his peers, he faces the future with optimism, adding that “I am trusting in God’s plan for my life.”
