Governments at all levels have been urged to invest more in the empowerment of youths for the growth and development of the country.

The Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, Prophet Sam Olu Alo who gave the advice described young people as the strength and power of any nation.

Stressing the importance of youth in society, the cleric said wars, strife and criminalities would always characterise such societies where the youths are not treasured and giving priority attention to succeed.

He also called on Nigerians to continue to support and intensify prayers for the government of President Bola Tinubu.

Prophet Olu Alo stated these while speaking with journalists at the end of the annual programme of the ministry tagged: ‘One Day, One Night’ held Adamimogo prayer city, Lekki, Lagos, the prophet said, “Because, the population of young people are highest in most of our communities now and that is the area where the government should focus on to develop.

“Most developed countries are doing their best to invest on the development and empowerment of their youths. They give training on trades, vocations and other entrepreneurship skills as well as giving them quality education.

“There is a country where a child must have formal education if he or she cannot acquire one skill or the order. It is compulsory that a child choose one out of the two. So today, it is something that we can also do as a nation to help ourselves.

“We need to be calling on our youths unto the way and fear of God. If they have the fear of God in their hearts, they will think of having something reasonable to do with their life either by learning a trade or going to school.

While speaking at a crusade organized at National Stadium, Surulere Lagos by the Celestial Church of Christ, Zion Parish, Lekki Phase 1, Itedo Lagos, he said, “No young person will hear about the life story of people like me and will not think deeply on what to do to change his or her life for better.”

The renowned prophet who posited that the nation belongs to the youths said any country where their young people are not making progress and succeeding will be in pains.
