The All Progressives Congress in Kogi State has won 22 House of Assembly Seats out of 25 in the just concluded House of Assembly Election.

According to the results released and announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the APC won 22 Seats, the PDP 2 Seats and the ADC won 1 Seat.

The PDP won in Bassa and Ogori Magongo State Constituency while the ADC won only in Yagba West.

For the first time, two women won in the state which means the state House of Assembly will be witnessing two women representing their various constituencies.

Kogi is one of the eight states where off-season elections are held. The others are Anambra, Bayelsa, Edo, Ekiti, Imo, Ondo and Osun.
