Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara state has declared Friday, February 24, 2023, work-free day for the state civil servants.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) in the Office of Head of Service, Murtala Atoyebi, for the state Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole today, the declaration was to enable workers in the state to travel down to their respective polling areas and participate in the Presidential election holding on Saturday.
The statement also admonished all citizens of the state, particularly the civil servants, to perform their civic responsibility during the electioneering period without any acrimony.
