To:
Lagos State Chairman,
All progressive Congress,
Mr Babatunde Balogun

Dear sir,

LETTER OF ELECTION OBSERVATION AND REPORT OF WARD F3, SURULERE LOCAL GOVERNMENT

It has come to my notice about the circulated and unconfirmed report about the believe shenanigans happening within our party, about the race to who become the party councillorship flag bearer in ward F3, haven’t heard that a young lady, who bear the name Khadijat Omotayo, that live in Ojo, along Lasu Road, Badagry, but contested at ward F3, in Surulere, as a result of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chapter IV that explains the fundamentals human rights of a Citizens, on who to vote and be voted for.

But it must be said that, the right explained in the Constitution have been grossly and garrulously abused by the said young lady, with the sole aim of causing disunity, hatred and conflict within the Party, Ward F3 in particular, as a result of her kwanshiokor and jugular act, wanting to destroy the long build peaceful coexistence and harmony, Knowing fully the state of our nation on insecurity, and loosing in an election shouldn’t lead us to civil unrest, as our party is known with the qualities of democratic principles, soil on equity and fairness.

However, without mincing words, the just concluded APC primary election in Ward F3, Surulere Local Government, which witnessed a large numbers of electorates that comes out to cast their vote for their prefer aspirants, that was freely conducted at the open ground of Teslim Balogun Stadium, without any show of preference for any of the aspirants. Low and behold, the election started late in the morning, and it ended late in the evening, by the Party officials, after in which the electorates have casted their vote.

And at the end, the results of the exercise was openly counted infront of the electorates, as the results go in favor of Olayiwola Abdulrahman Akeem, who polled 289 votes, and Khadijat Omotayo polled 61 votes. And Olayiwola Abdulrahman Akeem was openly declared as the winner of the primary election contest by the party chairman of ward F3, alongside the party officials, with the present of the security officers, that ensured adequate protection was in place and no form of political gimmick happened to the votes of the people, with reference to videos and pictures attached, while counting of the results was going on, just to provide a free level playing ground for the aspirants.

But to my greatest surprised, Omotayo Khadijat have been going round to meet the leadership of the party trying to convince them by buying them to change the people’s decision and the mandate giving to Olayiwola Abdulrahman Akeem by the masses, as she has been seen on different occasion with the leaders of the party, which report also have it that, some State party executives have being bought to her side, and LASIEC Form was giving to her, as against the popular decision of the people, which is totally against the ethics, code and principles guiding our party, and this show of shame is totally frown at, and it can possibly lead to chaos, and conflict within the environment, which we don’t pray for.

It must be said that before the primary election, the two aspirants was called by the leadership of the party in the Ward that they should both agree within themselves to allow one person go for the tickets of the party, without going into the primary election, but the two got dissatisfied with opinion of these leaders, and a day was picked for the in-house election, which was conducted for them, with the total numbers of 18 leaders being present.

And 14 out of the 18 leaders voted for Olayiwola Abdulrahman Akeem, and 4 leaders voted for Khadijat Omotayo, with that, she refused to be contempted with the decision of the party, which these leaders formed the Apex decision makers in ward F3, while she continues with her despirado and despotic act wanting to steal the mandate given to Olayiwola Abdulrahman Akeem, and this abysmal behavior from Khadijat Omotayo should be greeted with sanction, without fear or favor, in line with the party principles, as everyone is expected to be subjected to the decision of the party, which the supremacy cannot be checked by whosever.

As such, as a party man, am always committed in the progress of our beloved party, salted on peace and unity, hence, the Party Leaders as a matter of urgency should call Khadijat Omotayo to order on her wrong move, because it is evidently true that her act can lead us to a state of confusion, economic quagmire cum political unproductivity as the good image of our party would not longer be guaranteed as we cannot continue to allow a lady of such questionable character should be freely playing on the intelligence of the leadership of the party, we should not be found in the aspects of encouraging a battle which it’s fruits of victory would be ashes in our mouth and total destruction of our Party, our quest for equity and fairness should be maintained and protected in everyway, this, we can become great in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Thanks

God bless APC
God bless Ward F3
God bless Surulere
God bless Nigeria.

Yours faithfully

Signed

Alhaji Anibaba.
