Landmark University’s faculty and staff have received a 20 percent salary increase, as approved by the university’s Chairman, Board of Regents, Dr. David O. Oyedepo.

The increase was implemented by the management in November 2023.

The vice-chancellor, Professor Kolawole Ajanaku, had announced the Board’s approval of the salary increase to the university community, which was greeted with happiness and expectation among the entire staff of the institution.

During the announcement, he described the Board’s decision as a crucial intervention to mitigate the adverse effects of the escalating inflation on the national economy. In recognition of the kind gesture extended to the university’s faculty and staff, Professor Ajanaku expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Board of Regents, particularly the Chancellor, Dr. David O. Oyedepo, for leading the compassionate decision-making process as well as the Pro-Chancellor, Pastor (Mrs.) Faith Oyedepo.

The vice-chancellor extolled the Board’s sensitivity to the economic challenges faced globally by workforce and commended the empathetic stance taken by the university’s Board to address such concern.

It is hoped that the salary increase will boost the financial strength and elevate the morale as well as commitment levels of the university’s esteemed faculty and staff. This gesture is to instill a renewed sense of dedication and enthusiasm among the workforce, aligning seamlessly with the institution’s overarching vision of nurturing and equipping a new generation of leaders who will make significant strides and contributions in their respective fields.
