The APC chapter of Oriade Local Government Area of Osun state just like other local government areas across the nation, held her Congress yesterday 4th of September, 2021 to elect new Executive Members that will run the affairs of the party at the local government level at the Ijebu-Jesa Town which serves as collation centre for all electoral processes for Ward 3, Oriade local government and Ijesa North Federal Constituency respectively.
The Congress was held under the membership of the State Honourable Commissioner for Land and physical plannings, Barrister Nathaniel Agunbiade and other three Congress Electorate Committee Members from Obokun local government area namely, Prince Ademola Adeyeye (Chairman) Mrs Funke Ajayi and Mr Cornelius Esan (Secretary) under the supervision of INEC Officials from Oriade local government area, the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Security, Civil Defence and other security apparatuses.
The two Caretaker Committee Chairmen for Oriade local government area and Oriade South LCDA Hon Bunmi Obeisun and Hon Oladeji Ajimati respectively were at the venue of the Congress yesterday alongside with notable APC stalwarts and stakeholders across the local government area namely, High Chief Gabriel Emiola Ogunsanya (Feg Agro), Hon Rufus Oluwatayo, Hon Caleb Ojo, Hon Goke Awotunde, Hon Isreal Aloba, among others.
The newly elected Executive Members of APC in Oriade Local Government Area pledged their support to work for the success of the re-election bid of our Governor, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola come July 16, 2022 and subsequent elections in the local government area.
