There are several countries around the world have had or currently have presidents who are above the age of 70. These leaders have played significant roles in shaping the political landscapes of their respective countries, each with their own ideologies, policies, and challenges.

Here are some list of countries with presidents above seventy(70) years

UNITED STATES (Joe Biden)

Joe Biden was born on November 20, 1942. Joe Biden assumed office as the 46th President of the United States on January 20, 2021, making him 78 years old at the start of his term.

RUSSIA (Vladimir Putin)

Vladimir Putin was born on October 7, 1952.  He has been a dominant figure in Russian politics for over two decades. He first served as President from 2000 to 2008, then as Prime Minister from 2008 to 2012, before returning to the presidency in 2012. He has remained in power since then.

TURKEY (Recep Tayyip Erdoğan)

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was born on February 26, 1954, was serving as the President of Turkey. He has been a significant political figure in Turkey since the early 2000s.

 

BRAZIL  (Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva)

Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was born on 27 October 1945, assumed office as the President of Brazil on 1st January, 2023. He has been a controversial figure in Brazilian politics.

EGYPYT (Abdel Fattah el-Sisi)

Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, born on November 19, 1954, has been serving as the President of Egypt since 2014. He came to power after a military coup and subsequent election.

Abdelmadjid Tebboune was Born on November 17, 1945, Abdelmadjid Tebboune became President of Algeria in December 2019. He previously served in various government positions, including as Prime Minister, Minister of Housing, and Minister of Communication. INDIA (Narendra Modi)

NIGERIA ( Bola Ahmed Tinubu)

Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu was born on 29 March 1952. He is a Nigerian politician who is the 16th and current president of Nigeria.[1] He was the governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, and senator for Lagos West in the Third Republic. In 2023, he was elected president of Nigeria.
