A 35-year-old man, popularly known as Yellow has confessed to raping a 5-year-old child because he was cold, in the Ibere village in the Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State
Yellow was apprehended and severely beaten by a furious crowd, as he admitted to defiling the girl by enticing her into the room with groundnuts.
In a viral video uploaded by Lindaikeji, the suspect begged for pardon, accusing the devil and cold weather temperature of causing his heinous deed.
The suspect was turned over to local security guards, who then took him to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
In the meantime, the child’s relatives had taken her to the hospital right away so she could receive medical care.
