Nationnewslead report that Popular actress Mercy Aigbe-Adeoti has lamented the increase in the exchange rate.
Aigbe groaned over the current exchange rate noting as of Friday morning $1 was selling for N635.
Identifying as an entrepreneur, she asked her fellow enterprisers how they’ve been coping with the worrisome currency dip.
Reacting to the naira fall, the mother of two confessed she was tired of the state of the country which she noted was ‘draining’.
“$1 as at this morning is now 635!!! My fellow entrepreneurs, how are you coping? Gosh this country is draining.
“I don taya,” she wrote.
As of the time of this report, though the movie star submitted a dollar exchanges for N635, checks by The Nation revealed the exchange rate for dollar to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market), players buy a dollar for N610 and sell at N630 on Thursday, July 21, 2022, according to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC).
