At this point in time, we are convinced that there seems to be no one unaware of the ongoing Mmesoma saga. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) appears boldly in the large picture. Recall that the board recently accused Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma of forging her UTME result, an accusation she initially dismissed claiming to be neutral.
In case you just grabbed your popcorn, the cinema is ending so soon. An inquiry committee set up by the Anambra State Government to look into the controversy surrounding her UTME result indicted Mmesoma of forging her result unaided.
Mmesoma made it to the trend table after her father, Mr. Romanus Ejikeme, tenders unreserved apology to JAMB and Nigerians at large, saying his daughter lied to him initially.

You may be wondering what the name of this disciplinary man is finding on the Twitter trend table. Well, it is because of how he handled the case of Mmesoma’s result forgery saga. Some Twitter users have continued to pour encomium on the Jamb boss and described him as a man of unquestionable character and integrity.
Adam22
Well, this is not the Adam that ate Apple in the Bible but an American podcaster and YouTuber who goes by his real name, Adam Grandmaison.
Adam22 found his way to the trending table after coming under heavy criticism for allowing his ‘pornstar partner’, Lena the Plug, to act in an adult film with another man for the first time in their seven-year relationship.
The 39-year-old, who hosts the podcast titled ‘No Jumper’ said although he was ‘little jealous’ at first, it ‘wasn’t a big deal.’
Olamide
This trend is another validation of the street phrase; “Badoo na Baba”, meaning Olamide Adedeji, simply known as Olamide, is the ‘big boss’ in the music industry.
The “Melo Melo” crooner joined the Twitter trend table today after sensational music artist Lojay took to Twitter to thank him for paying for the video of one of his hits songs.
He wrote “@Olamide is actually one of the greatest humans I know! Bro called me on my birthday and after talking for a bit he told me he loved “Ova” so much and literally offered to pay for the video. E no reach 7 days bruh, video was done and dusted! I love that man 😩❤️”
Several Twitter users have however taken to the post’s comments section to attest to the kindness of the Bariga-born rapper.
Kylian Mbappe
Whenever netizens use “Wahala no dey finish”, they are probably referring to Mbappe and his clubside, PSG. There seems to be no ending to the drama going on between the two parties.
Mbappe, a professional football player at PSG, has been at loggerheads with his club for some time now over issues relating to contract renewal. The France forward who is currently enjoying his holiday in his father’s native country of Cameroon has refused to renew his contract that expires next summer. Unwilling to let him go for free when his contract expires, the club has given him an option of either signing a new contract or leaving the club this summer.
However, PSG has now decided to sell the world cup winner this summer after he rejected 3 different new contract offers to stay at the club. The controversies surrounding Mbappe’s transfer have continued to be a subject of discussion on Twitter, making him one of the trending topics.
Laycon
Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifah Agbeleshebioba better known as Laycon made it to the trending table today. This is however not because of anything related to Big Brother Naija, but because of the new album he just released.
The former reality show winner has continued to trend online after the release of his 13-tracks album titled “Bioba”.
De Gea
Also making a Twitter trend today is Manchester United goalkeeper, the former Spain International, David De Gea. He became a trending topic after he took to Twitter to announce his departure from Manchester United 12 years after joining the English club.
Some Manchester United fans have however taken to Twitter to call out the management of the club over what they describe as ” unfair” treatment of the club’s legendary goalkeeper.
