A former factional gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, Dotun Babayemi has described his expulsion by the party as a ruse.
The PDP chieftain also described those behind the move as jesters who are ignorant of the rules of the party.
Recall that the PDP in Otun Balogun Ward 2, Ayedaade local government area of the state expelled Babayemi on Friday.
The party made the move over allegations of anti-party activities brought against Babayemi.
While reacting to the expulsion through Kayode Oladejo, his spokesperson on Friday, Babayemi said, “Those who carried out the shenanigans they called an expulsion of Omooba Dotun Babayemi from the PDP, are ignorant of the rules that govern the party.
“They and their sponsors are only being clever by half in their bid to browbeat Babayemi, a man of the people. They are jesters who enjoy amusing themselves.” Continue Reading
