The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has debunked viral publications stating that the N-power Batch C Stream 2 Shortlisting would commence on 15th June and continues till 21st June, 2021.

NASIMS responding to an equiry clarified to the applicants awaiting the commencement of the Stream 2 Shortlisting that no date has been fixed for the Shortlisting.

The N-power Team however encouraged applicants to keep checking their profiles to enable them know when the Shortlisting has commenced in order to enrol their biometrics.

 

 

 

 

Out of the above 4 million applicants who registered for the Batch C N-power Programme in 2020, 1.8 million applicants successfully took the online screening Test.

 

In line with President Mohammadu Buhari’s policy to unfailingly lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years, N-power Batch C is structured to on-board 1 million new beneficiaries with an initial 500,000 beneficiaries in the first stream, and a subsequent 500,000 beneficiaries in a second stream.”

 

 

Among the 1.8 Million Nigerians who successfully took the online screening test, 800,000 Nigerians would have to wait for another Batch of the Programme.

While 550,000 Nigerians have been shortlisted to undergo Biometric enrolment, 500,000 would be selected as the Stream 1 Batch C N-power Beneficiaries.

 

 

The Batch C Stream 2 will also engage another 500,000 Nigerians, however, the date for the commencement of the Stream 2 has not been officially announced by the Federal Government.

The N-power Batch C is planned to drive the acquisition of a bouquet of usable skills for each beneficiary with the goal of ensuring that they are economically more active and possess the right vocations skill-set to attract gainful employment after graduation.

A monthly Stipend of N30,000 ($72) will be paid to the Graduate Category for 1 year maximum duration while N10,000 ($24) (unless otherwise stated) will be paid to the Non-Graduate Category for a maximum duration of 6 months.
