NANS 2022 CONVENTION/ELECTION: NANS SENATORS HELD TO RANSOM INSIDE ELECTION VENUE UNDER HEAVY DOWNPOUR
Nationnewslead reports that Senators of NANS have been held to ransom inside the Old Parade Ground, Central Abuja for the past 12hours under heavy downpour without any provision whatsoever.
We waited for hours before we were accredited and after then, we felt the election process will commence immediately.
Alas, we were just trapped intentionally to punish us for the sins we didn’t commit. This has been a tradition but this is certainly to the extreme.
We are tired and we are giving the Convention Planning Committee (CPC) 1hour to intervene and make things right by continuing the election procedures and provide for the welfare of the Senators held to ransom. Otherwise, all the Senators on ground at the convention ground will vacate the convention ground and unanimously suspend the 2022 convention till further notice.
NANS SENATORS are not animals but human beings like the CPC members and the executive and legislative members of NANS who are in their various hotels while the Senators, who are the main stakeholders, are drenched under the heavy downpour at the convention ground.
