In a concerted effort to combat the escalating issues of violence and substance abuse among young people, the Brothers Across Nigeria (BAN), in partnership with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Osun State Command, organized a seminar aimed at enlightening thousands of students in Osun.

The event, convened in Ilesa, shed light on the dangers associated with violence and the consumption of illicit drugs among youths. Engr. Sunday Jayeola, the Zonal Coordinator for Kwara and Osun States, urged addicted youths to break free from drug dependency, emphasizing the severe health ramifications, including heart and kidney damage.

The summit witnessed active participation from prominent figures within the organization, such as Mr. Victor, the Brother Across Nigeria Zonal Coordinator for Ondo & Ekiti State, and Dr. Kazeem Oyedeji, an esteemed elder in Kwara, Ondo & Osun State. Also present were Dr. Olasunkanmi Akinyemi, Zonal Member; Mr. Niran Daniel, Former Zonal Coordinator Lagos State; Mr. Shina Kehinde, Living legend of the association; Mr. Kazeem, Zonal Coordinator Ogun State; Mr. Uche, Zonal Coordinator Oyo State, and States Coordinator, among others.

During the proceedings, Mr. Sunday Jayeola, the Chief Host and Zonal Coordinator for Kwara and Osun State, extended gratitude to Dr. Yetunde Ofoha, Mr. Segun Fagbola, Mr. Olaboyin Patrick O, and other stakeholders for their unwavering support. He also took a moment to appreciate the members of the organization who attended the burial ceremony of Engr. Femi Olatunji, who peacefully passed away at the age of 78.

Concluding the event, Mr. Sunday Jayeola offered a prayer for the attendees, urging them to return safely and to pursue their aspirations with the divine grace of the Almighty.
