In a fervent plea echoing the sentiments of many in Ndokwa land, Prince Uzor Otunuya Lukman Obecha Inyi has raised a poignant cry, highlighting the myriad challenges plaguing the region. With a stark absence of vital infrastructure and governmental representation, the community finds itself on the fringes of development.

Prince Uzor Otunuya Lukman Obecha Inyi underscored the dire situation faced by Ndokwa land, pointing to the absence of crucial services such as hospitals, electricity, and educational institutions. Furthermore, the absence of functional boards for key agencies like the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) exacerbates the region’s woes.

Amidst the prevailing neglect, the community is turning to political figures for aid. Notable names such as Sen. Ned Mnuir Nwolo, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, and Commissioner Darlington Ijeh are being implored to champion the cause of Ndokwa’s sons and daughters. The urgency of the situation has prompted fervent appeals to individuals holding positions of influence, including Festus Ochonogor, Tilije Fidelis, Chukwudi Defe, Charles Enetulu, and Prince Emeka Osermata.

Prince Uzor Otunuya Lukman Obecha Inyi’s lamentation extends to the chronic lack of development initiatives in Ndokwa land since the inception of the current democratic dispensation in 1999. This neglect is glaringly evident in the absence of government projects and basic infrastructure, including the glaring absence of road networks in Ndokwa East.

The cry for attention and intervention from the powers that be resonates deeply within the hearts of Ndokwa’s populace. As the community’s plight gains traction, the hope for long-overdue progress and equitable representation flickers on the horizon, awaiting the transformative touch of political will and commitment to change.
