The residents of Obecha Inyi, situated in the Ndokwa East area of Delta State, have raised concerns over the community’s neglect by both federal and state governments, as reported by Nationnewslead.

Prince Uzor Otunuya Lukman, speaking to our correspondent, highlighted the challenges faced by the community, citing a lack of government support and essential amenities. He emphasized that Obecha Inyi has not received any tangible benefits from government initiatives.

The citizens of Obecha Inyi have issued a plea to government authorities, urging them to intervene and address the pressing needs of the community. They lamented the absence of federal and state government appointments for the town, exacerbating their plight.

Prince Uzor Otunuya Lukman specifically called upon Delta State Governor, Hon. Chief Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, as well as the Senate and House of Representatives members representing Ndokwa East area, to prioritize the community’s welfare.

Highlighting the critical deficiencies, Lukman emphasized the dire need for healthcare facilities, electricity, and infrastructure development. He underscored the perilous state of the community’s roads, which pose significant risks to residents and visitors alike.

In a heartfelt appeal on behalf of Obecha Inyi’s residents, Prince Uzor Otunuya Lukman implored both federal and state governments to recognize the community’s worthiness and allocate resources accordingly, particularly in appointments and infrastructure development.
