Nationnewslead report that Hon. Seun Odofin has expressed sadness over the demise of a chieftain of Osun State Chapter of All Progressive Congress, Hon. Babatunde Towo Ajewole who died in the early hours of Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Odofin in a statement described Towo’s death as a very shocking and unfortunate incident which shouldn’t have occurred at this moment.
The Ijesa North House of Representatives candidate of All Progressive Congress in the 2023 election said the deceased was a very humble, gentle, responsible, uncompromised and experienced politician who served humanity with passion.
The Special Adviser on Administration and Legislative Compliance to the immediate past-Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila sympathized with the progressives party and Ajewole family asked them to take solace in the supreme will of God.
The deceased was a former Councilor in Oriade Local Government during Chief Bisi Akande’s administration before he later served as the State Deputy Youth Leader.
“The death of Hon. Babatunde Towo Ajewole is a rude shock and unfortunate incident. Sincerely, Osun State APC and Ajewole family have lost a rare gem and valuable asset.
Hon. Ajewole was a political enigma. Losing an experienced and very loyal politician like him is so painful because this is the time his experience is needed most.
I express my sincere condolences to the Osun State Chapter of All Progressive Congress and the family of our late leader and grassroot politician for this monumental loss,” he said.
