Prince Segun Ogungbangbe, a prominent stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijesa North federal constituency, has praised President Bola Tinubu for establishing the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFund), a free-interest loan financial institution aimed at supporting financially disadvantaged students in public tertiary institutions across the country.

He also commended the president for extending the retirement age for judges to 70 years and applauded his administration’s various economic reforms, predicting positive outcomes for Nigeria and its citizens in the near future.

Prince Segun, in a statement provided to NATIONNEWSLEAD on Saturday, emphasized the transformative potential of the student loan scheme in ensuring sustainable higher education and skill development for Nigerian students, stating that it provides crucial financial support to pursue academic aspirations.

Regarding the new retirement age for judges, Ogungbangbe highlighted its potential to retain experienced legal minds within the judicial system, leading to improved quality and timeliness of judgments.

He further expressed optimism about the economic reforms under Tinubu’s administration, suggesting that their successful implementation could propel Nigeria towards accelerated economic growth, emphasizing productivity and ease of doing business.

Noting early indicators of growth, such as increased foreign direct investment and job creation reported by the Minister of Finance, he underscored the positive trajectory for Nigeria’s future.

Additionally, he welcomed the significant increase in statutory allocations to all three tiers of government, viewing it as a step towards addressing challenges and improving people’s lives.

Ogungbangbe concluded by urging President Tinubu to maintain focus on positively transforming Nigeria’s economic narrative.”
