I, write to draw your attention towards the insincere protocols taken to select the new Alaafin of oyo.
The ridiculous, Hypocratic and stomach infrastructure processes of the new Alaafin will definitely lead to a very serious crisis which our dear oyo state don’t need at all Because we are not known for such.
Some members of the Oyomesi are not sincere with the previous procedures. They are trying to divide one indivisible ruling house into two because of their selfish interest and forget that the reward of good deeds don’t come from the pocket.
if someone or a group of people could receive the sum of 1 to 3 million naira from a contender in the sake of prayers, how much is it to go to Mecca or Jerusalem to go and talk to god almighty directly? Those kind of people can never be realistic in the processes.
Both old and young indigenes of oyo know where the next Alaafin should come from. And even within the same ruling house, there’s hierarchy.
We all know that it is the turn of Agunloye rulling house to produce the next Alaafin. Some unscrupulous and indiscipline members of oyomesi , with an act of lacking of decorum and sincerity have been wandering around to gain support for a particular family( GBADEGESIN) trying to remove themselves out of the major lineage just to conduct a skillfully manipulated fraud to become the next Alaafin.
The gbadegesins on the list of contenders can not become Alaafin Now because their grandfather ( alaafin bello gbadegesin) had ruled.
The late oba bello Gbadegesin is one of the sons of late Alaafin siyanbola oladigbolu and he oba gbadegesin still have capable brothers alive who are fit to become the next monarch.
How come Alaafin Gbadegesin’s grandsons are contesting with their grandfather’s younger brothers if Oyomesi actually worthy of leaders of thought they claimed to be.
We know candidates that if selected, there can never be any litigation unless some people are planning to land unnecessary food on their lawyer’s Table. And as well, we know those that if chosen, there can never be Peace even oyo towns name changed to PEACE GARDENS. What ever Oyomesi have collected from anyone should not be spent yet because the next Alaafin will be produced based on Merits, not by intimidation.
There’s nothing secretive about all the wandering around to get manipulative support.
The traditional rulers who are also leading them around without a proper findings should also maintain their domain and focus on their major responsibilities . Otherwise, they could be called out publicly and embarrassingly .
Its quite unfortunate, the king’s father who supposed to coordinate the whole processes want to be king even at 85 years. Well, I cant blame him. I blame the lazy youths who are still believing today’s youth are tomorrow’s leader not knowing that, no one steps down for anyone in the journey to greatness.
I am humbly advising the executive governor of Oyo state , Engr oluseyi Makinde to use his executive power to take over the project from uneducated , greed and delusional liars who have no respect for Omoluabi’s pedigree and trying to cause a chaos in a very peaceful oyo town under your supervision . We don’t want the unhappy youths to set our palace and Heritage ablaze just like they did recently in Osun state.
They should discontinue this shenanigans before it become the journey of sinking to rise no more. Continue Reading
