Nationnewslead report that the Candidate of the Young Progressive Party for Oriade State Constituency House of Assembly seat, Hon. Seye Arowobusoye has challenged his opponent in the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Desmond Babatunde Ojo to a public debate.
In a statement signed by him, Arowobusoye accused Hon. Desmond Babatunde Ojo of poor oversight, unfulfilled promises, less impressive and impactful midway into its four years tenure.
He said the political oxygen Gboyega Famoodun provided for Desmond Ojo in 2019 has been exhausted and dried out.
He said, “The debate will provide a platform for Hon. Desmond Ojo to present his scorecard to the constituency while he will also provide his blueprints for the Oriade State Constituency if elected.
“As we prepare for the 2023 polls, I call on my supporters to judiciously use the power of the PVCs by trooping out en-masse to vote for the YPP.
“Surely, I will not disappoint you all. You should test my capacities and capabilities and I believe I will not fail you. I will double my efforts to ensure adequate and effective representation of your varied interests in Oriade State Constituency”. Continue Reading
