His Royal Majesty Oba Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe the Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa has been administered his second dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

A statement obtained by Nationnewslead correspondent from his media aide indicated that the monarch received the second jab this afternoon in his palace.

 

The Monarch also disclosed that he was eligible for the second dose having taken his first jab on early March.

 

Owaloko called on Iloko-Ijesa people and Osun residents who have received the first dose to also present themselves for the second jab of the vaccination.

He urged residents to continue abiding by the COVID-19 safety protocols always.
