Nationnewslead report that Prominent Osun Monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, Owaloko of Iloko ijesa has Sympathized with the Ooni of Ife and Arole Oodua, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, (Ojaja II) CFR over the fire outbreak which engulfed his ancient palace.
Owaloko, in a statement described the incident as great loss to Ooni of Ife and the state.
“I am deeply saddened by the sad news of the fire incident today at the palace of High Highness, the Ooni of Ife.
Owaloko, who lamented the extent of damage at the palace, however, expressed gratitude to God that no life was lost nor injuries recorded” he said.
Oba akeem asked Ooni of Ife to have faith that the incident was destined to happen at this moment. praying that such unfortunate incident will never happen again in this palace. We pray that this will be a stepping stone for the transformation of the entire palace.”
