Police in Kano State have arrested a 44-year-old Ali Muhammad, for allegedly supplying motorcycles to bandits in Zamfara State.

This was confirmed by the spokesman of the command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, in a statement.

He said the suspect was arrested on Friday, in possession of four brand new Honda ACE-125 Motorcycles, popularly known as ‘’Boko Haram’’.

He said the team of Operation Puff Adder, while working on credible information, arrested the suspect with the four motorcycles at about 1946hrs.

Kiyawa said the suspect confessed to have been conspiring with two others to transport motorcycles to bandits in Zamfara State where they are banned.

He said the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, ordered for discreet investigation, after which case will be charged to court for prosecution.
