The family of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has called on President Bola Tinubu, to comply with Court judgements that ordered the immediate and unconditional release of the former.

This was also as the family has asked the Department of State Services, DSS to tell the world what they are hiding that makes them keep Kanu away from his visitors contrary to court orders.

Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, Monday made these demands while alleging that the security personnel at the Abuja headquarters of the DSS, where Kanu is currently being detained, did not allow Kanu to sign his legal documents to give authorisation to his lawyers.

Emmanuel said the full number of family that went to visit him was not allowed access to him, stating that only two out of the three family members authorised by the Court to visit him were allowed to see him while the third family member was turned back.

Emmanuel expressed his anger over the actions of the security operatives who he accused of violating court orders, adding that for two consecutive times, Kanu was totally denied access to his visitors including his lawyers and family members.

While expressing his worry over the health condition of the IPOB leader, particularly, the condition of his leg, Emmanuel demanded explanations from the DSS on why Kanu was being shielded from his visitors.
