Seun Odofin has joined women in his constituency and Nigeria at large to celebrate 2023 International Women’s Day as observed on March 8 of every year.
Recognizing the positive role of women in politics and nation building, Barr. Seun Odofin salutes them for supporting his aspiration in the February 25, 2023 House of Representatives Election.
He described women as needed pillar for any man and society that desire success. Noting that their hardwork and commitment to politics and Nigeria project has yielded unexpected achievements.
Barr. Seun Odofin enjoined them to be more dedicated to their careers and trades and engage in healthy competition with their male counterparts so as to break gender barrier in various field of work; education, sports, medical, agriculture, tourism, entertainment and even in politics, where they are still largely under-represented.
He therefore pledged his unwavering supports to female gender in the constituency irrespective of age, race and colour through various life-changing projects that will help them attain greatness.
“I celebrate our women on the occasion of 2023 International Women’s Day and advise them to be more committed to their careers and trades.
“They should do more to engage in healthy competition with their male counterparts in every field of work either sports or education, medical, tourism, entertainment and even politics because they’re not yet fully represented.
Though, they have contributed more to Nigeria politics and project but they should do more. I thank them for standing by me during my political aspiration.
