The President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan, has congratulated the spokesperson of the Senate, Senator Ajibola Bashiru, on his appointment as the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for the Osun 2022 governorship election.
Bashiru who represents Osun Central at the Senate was last Thursday inaugurated alongside other members of the Campaign Council by the State Chairman of the APC, Prince Gboyega Famodun.
SRJ as he is fondly called is to lead other sub-committees in the nine federal constituencies of Osun to actualize the success of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and the APC in the July 16 governorship election.
In a short message to the Senator, SP Ahmad Lawan congratulated and wished him Allah’s guidance and protection in his new assignment, which he described as onerous.
“Distinguished chairman, congratulations on your appointment as the DG of the Gubernatorial Campaign of your state. I wish you Allah’s guidance and protection in this onerous assignment. Regards,” he said. Continue Reading
