On Tuesday, Dec 21, 2021, the Super Lovers International held her maiden anniversary at Ijagbo, Kwara State.
Super Lovers International is a league of women who have come together to solve marital problems, provide assistance and channel a workable route towards achieving a blissful matrimony.
The convener of Super Lovers International, SLi Atinukemi Abbass in her address said the idea of organizing the organization is to affect lives positively ranging from wives to helpless youths, to discuss marriage related challenges, suggest possible solutions, share experiences and pray together.
Speaking on the compound effect of love, she encouraged women to continue to make smart choices to improve their love for their spouses. She added that no immediate result on compound effect of love as communication, commitment and consistency remains key component to happy home.
Also, Pastor David Olugbemi spoke about how women can be indispensable. Adding that women should take up the responsibility beyond kitchen.
According to him, “Indispensable means to be irreplaceable, gone are the days when woman were confined to kitchen. Nowadays, marrying to somebody goes beyond kitchen or baring his name merely. In marriage, two should be better than one, so what are the things you have added to your husband? What importance can your husband attach to you? Are you just in marriage to collect money?Women must change the mentality for things to work out.
“A partner is a member of a married couple. Three major pillars that forms marriage are God, man and woman. Woman is a pillar in the marriage and when the pillar is broken, the home will collapse. That’s why women have to add value to themselves.”
He however charged women to be correctable, supportive, prayerful and relate with their husband with utmost humility.
In the same development, Pastor Mrs. Oluwatoyin Oladoye from Osun State charged women to be committed and dedicated with prayer to support their spouses. In her address, she exposed women to discussion which will improve their quality of service in their matrimonial haven.
In an attempt to give back to the society, the organization magnanimously supported two invited guests with cash and distributed foodstuff as gift to others including members who were present at the event.
One of the beneficiaries, Olabanji Usman commended the generous gesture of the Super Lovers International for taking up the responsibility to restore peace to broken homes, help the less privileged and promote love and unity in the matrimony. He thanked the convener and other members for the gifts and intriguing lecture series during the program.
