The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Bola Tinubu, has finally settled for Senator Kashim Shettima, a Muslim as his running mate.
Nationnewslead reports that some stakeholders in the country had warned the former Lagos State Governor against picking a Muslim running mate, as Muslim-Muslim ticket would sideline the Christians.
However, addressing journalists on Sunday in Katsina State on Sunday, Tinubu said he has settled for Senator Shettima as his running mate.
Shettima, the representative of Borno Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber, was a two-term Governor of Borno State.
