The Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa, Oba Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, Dr. Cosmos Maduka, are among distinguished Nigerians that will be conferred with Honorary Doctoral titles of the Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Nmudike during the Tenth Convocation Ceremonies of the institution slated for Saturday November 27.
Also to receive honorary doctorate degrees are Mr. Chika Ikenga, and Alhaji Usman Yahya.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics and Chairman Convocation Ceremonial Committee disclosed this at a press conference held on Wednesday heralding the 10th convocation ceremonies of the university.
Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture’s VC revealed that the convocation lecture titled, ‘Nigeria of our dreams; managing national security and diversification through agriculture’ will be delivered by His Excellency, Prof. Hafiz Abubakar, Former Deputy Governor of Kano State under the Chairmanship of Senator Chris Adighije, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council, Federal University of Lokoja.
