The Controller of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Zamfara State Command, Dauda Ibrahim SabiMoro, has assured individuals interested in applying for passports that they need not panic anymore. People can now process and obtain passport documents in Zamfara.

The Controller provided this assurance today, Wednesday, in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara state, shortly after the formal decoration of 34 promoted officers and the passing-out parade of 90 new officers in the state.

Dauda SabiMoro advised that citizens can now apply but should do so early for prompt processing in the state.

“People can now process and obtain their passports at the Zamfara State Immigration Service. Interested individuals can register online, obtain the relevant receipt, and then come for thumb printing at our office.”

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has promoted 34 of its officers and men serving at the Zamfara State Command to their next rank. Additionally, some officers and men of the command were honored with awards by the Controller of Immigration Service in the state.

Those honored were Nasiru Abubakar, recognized for outstanding character; Yushau Mohammed, acknowledged for academic excellence; and Saidu Jafaru, distinguished as the general parade commander in the state.
