Veteran Nigerian comedian Alibaba has dropped jaws with a bombshell revelation about what goes on behind the scenes in the homes of some of the country’s most powerful men.
In a recent interview that surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Alibaba claimed he had witnessed the wives of top politicians, governors, and other influential figures caught in compromising situations during visits to their homes.
Recalling one of his shocking encounters, he said, “I’ve been to the houses of a lot of these big men, governors and the rest of them, and I see wives, I’m not kidding, wives of people that I know, come in to do things,”

“And they will greet, and then those guys will do all their philandering—stamp her bum, come and go back inside. I’m not finished with you—and then she’ll go back inside.”

According to the comedy legend, these encounters sometimes resurface in the most unexpected ways.
“I run into her at an event in Lagos, and the husband said, ‘How are you? Meet my wife.’ I said, ‘I haven’t seen you in nearly five years, where have you been?’ And she’s like, ‘Oh, I’ve been around.’ I said, ‘Good to see you,’ and then we’ll continue,” Alibaba added.
He ended the story with another twist, revealing how one of the women eventually came back to thank him for keeping quiet. “And maybe she then sees me somewhere again, she’ll come and say, ‘Ali, thanks,’ and I’ll say, ‘It’s okay.’”
The revelation has sparked mixed reactions online, with some praising Alibaba for shedding light on the secret lives of Nigeria’s elite, while others questioned the morality of remaining silent in such situations.
