The Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon. Obeisun Olubunmi Ezekiel, led his councilors and other party loyalists on a courtesy visit to Elder Emiola Ogunsanya, a prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the local government, early this morning. The meeting took place at Feg Agro and was aimed at appreciating the elder statesman for his unwavering support.
The visit followed Hon. Obeisun’s resumption of duties for the new week. Accompanied by his cabinet members and other APC stakeholders, the chairman expressed gratitude to Elder Ogunsanya for his guidance and encouragement, particularly during the period when Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, removed them from office and their eventual reinstatement after the Court of Appeal judgment on February 10.
Elder Ogunsanya, in his remarks, commended the local government executives for their visit and urged them to be good ambassadors of the party. He emphasized the importance of upholding the trust reposed in them by the APC and ensuring that they deliver quality governance to the people of Oriade.
The APC leader also took the opportunity to criticize the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, describing it as a failure. He advised the local government executives to remain steadfast in their commitment to development and to make a meaningful impact in their respective wards.
Furthermore, Elder Ogunsanya stressed the need for unity and peace among party members, noting that love and harmony are essential ingredients for political success. He encouraged the council executives to foster cooperation among their constituents to strengthen the party’s presence in the local government.
